Today, information revolution, which is equivalent to industrial revolution, is making progress. A lot of personal information is visualized and digitized to large data on the internet using IoT, cloud computing, AI and big data. We are living with accessing to the internet.

There is an urgent issue on countermeasure against security problems; for example cyber attacks, fraud services, pubic information and identity fraud.

To improve the security, identity management and identification by biometrics authentication at accessing to the web becomes one of the most necessary technologies in network society.

In network society, on the one hand, it is apprehensive about controlled society and mass surveillance. On the other hand, the internet which is connected with My Number system and speread of cloud computing will benefit from inovations. It is important that we consider about the two sides, apprehensions and benefits, not only in terms of technology but social science. We need to research on security and identification issues by interdisciplinary approach.

Thank you for your collabolation and support.
